Recently when the (end of the day) sun hit my windshield I noticed a series of fine scratches. They are not noticeable at other times but they bother me. I will admit they were (stupidly) self inflicted...enough said. I know online companies that sell exotic and high-end detailing products have glass polishing products but I have read several posts that say the 16' Tacoma windshields are softer (probably not the best word) so I worry about creating more scratches. Does anyone have any suggestions to remove the scratches other than "do nothing?"

Otherwise, so far so good with the truck. I get respectable mileage, no shifting problems (dealer added 1 qt. of transmission fluid at 3K and replaced rear door window seal), trip mileage screen has not reset (fingers crossed on that), and no vibration at any speed. It does have more wind noise than I like at higher speeds but not the problem with the noise issue reported by other forum members. Really didn't want to buy a first-year model of any vehicle but had to out of necessity (wrecked my 12' Tundra and didn't want to go back to that size truck which was mainly a personal vehicle and not used for work).

Thanks for the suggestions...total zero. I just assumed someone on the Forum had also run into and solved this problem. But, good ole' Google had the answer.

Type "How to remove scratches from windshield" in to Google. Not trying to be a smart ass but the explanation was somewhat lengthy (several steps) and there were several different sites that presented instructions on removing scratches from windshields. It would take me too long to repeat these instructions and I would probably leave something out anyway.
