 You know the wise one has spoken. Must go with tire A (AT2) in the pic. :D Can't be called Michelin Man without them.

I think I remember you staying you don't like MT. I've heard MT can be problematic in ice / snow. So maybe not good for CO ? :notsure:

All I know is they are incredibly tough, and I love mine a lot. :)

Damnit Ray! Are you paying attention? That's exactly what I would (and did before) go with. I CAN'T get that tire in 285 anymore. That's the whole reason I'm currently mired in this cycle of second guessing and indecision.

295s are for 17s and 17s are for mall crawlers :D

I did think about 305s or even 315s but don't want to buy 5 tires or regear at this time

Any MT is a poor choice to run year around out here. I run MTs, but only with a 2nd set of wheels and tires for winter use.

    Lies. I've got 295/75r16s.

This build really needs 315s though. Just buy 4 and keep an eye out for a craigslist spare on the cheap.

I did see that and I keep hearing all kinds of good stuff about them.
Checking right now with discount on price matching the cooper's with some online retailers.
As it stands, they have the ms2 in stock, they'd have to order in the Maxx and they want a few hundred more. If they price match, the $gets a lot closer.

I'm right on the edge of the fence and could fall on either side at this point :boom:

I ended up purchasing mine from Big O. They were quite a bit cheaper if I remember correctly

Edit: Yup, they have them for $218. Not "cheap" by any means, but better than a lot of alternatives

Even more so. At 157lbs. per mounted tire I am sure they will pleasure you through the seat all the time! :)

    Stt Maxx? What size?
I'm as cheap as they come but I'd rather spend $100 well than spend $20 poorly.

The 305 is a good size. Just saying. No trimming needed just a few jump and they clear themselves.

Oh and is anyone else itchy as fuck right now!
