How's it every one! I'm new to this forum and would like some help. I have a 2014 sr5 tacoma and would like to put bigger wheels on. I currently don't have the money for a lift but I do have some cash for wheels and tires.... what size wheels and tires can I run with out doing any lifts? Keep in mind that this is the lower tacoma with the 5 lug patter. (Not the higher sr5 prerunner.)
    Any help is appreciated mahalo!

16" is the smallest wheel you can fit. As for the largest, that's up to you. Personally I'm a fan of 24's

the wheel (rim) is the metal part inside the tire...you're wanting to put huge rims on your truck? or are you asking for tire size?

If you're willing to cut up your fenders and cab mounts, sky's the limit. If not 10% or so above your stock size.

18 to 20 would be as big as id go without starting to cut or lift. the 4x4 is a little more forgiving of wheel size. pluse on thing to remember is the tpms on the 5 lug trucks are a different pitch in angle and wont fit properly into some aftermarket wheels. post up some pics of what you been looking at for it.

Look for a 4x4 Crew Cab
I have a 2009 Toyota Tacoma Crew Cab TRD Off Road, and I am looking to get 31" 10.5" tires on the truck. I would also like to change the rims, Could any one tell me what size Rims I would need, in order to get a set of 31" - 10.5" tires on the truck with out lifting it?

Or Would I have to Lift the truck in order to get the 31" - 10.5" tires on the Truck, and how much would I have to lift the Truck in order to accomplish getting the 31" - 10.5" tires.

I appreciate any assistance anyone can provide.

You can buy say 20 inch rims with low profile tires and have 15 inch rims with tires that will be taller than the 20s with low profiles.
Check out tire calculator in wheels section to have and idea of how tall different tires are with different diameters rims .
