I like my Sena, just unfortunate the speaker blew. I listen to music overtime I ride, with foam earplugs, and can still hear things around me when I need to. The music and earplugs just block out wind noise.

I had a pair of silicone earplugs made for me at a gun show- the kind where they pour it into your ear and let it dry- you can now get those DIY kits to make your own. I can talk to someone at the range and hear very well but the crack of an AR15 going off is like popcorn. They are awesome. I wear them with my 1/2 helmet to cut the wind noise from the straps and they are so comfy you don't realize you're wearing them.

So went out for a little ride around town before dinner and decided to head out by the local high school for some thing different. A school bus was at a stop sign waiting to cross traffic and go the same way i was heading. As i get about 50 ft away from that road i see his wheels start to move and then it guns it right in front on me, forcing me to slam on the brakes and go into a slide. After i get it slowed down roughly 3 feet off the back bumper i pull up next to him flipping out with the adrenaline kicking in and following him to the bus yard. I go into the office to talk to the safety officer and file a report. Not that i want the guy to loose his job but I've had enough close calls this year that I'm gonna start wearing my go pro every ride and delete the video if nothing happens. I have a bright red jacket with a red helmet that has a red chrome shield. I had the safety officer look at my bike and his response "how the hell can you miss the bright green bike". I told him that is exactly why i have a bright colors instead of black, this weekend has not been going well for me at all. Dirt riding does help my bike handling skills on the road quite a bit.

Swapped back over to a 42T in the rear. Not by choice though...

A few days ago I was riding around town about 12 miles from home when I noticed a loud clicking noise. Stop at a stop sign and come to find out I'm missing 2 rear sprocket bolts/nuts, 1 bolt that was missing a nut had managed to hang on (was causing the clicking by hitting my swingarm), 2 bolts were completely loose but still had the nuts, and the last bolt was still tight. Got everything hand tight and limped it to Autozone to borrow some tools. Got it home and it's been sitting since then.

Replaced all the nuts/bolts with new ones, and the chain had eaten up the sprocket so bad that I swapped back to the 42T.

That one nut/bolt that was still tight stripped out of course when I tried to remove it. Managed to get a dremel tool in there to cut the nut off.

Not sure how it happened considering I used blue loctite last time I messed with them. Now it has lock nuts and red loctite... Stupid thumper haha

Dropped the bike in the driveway yesterday. :( I was taking it off the rear stand after cleaning the chain and I didn't have the kickstand down.

I fixed it today though. So all is well.

Haven't dropped one at a standstill yet (touch wood). I apparently prefer to drop them at speed instead. :notsure:

Although it's been a few years since I've done that, either.
At least it was an easy touchup, dude. They're a lot harder to fix when you drop them doing 35mph.

Dropping sucks. One reason I'll never own another full fairing bike.

But supermoto give zero fucks

how did you fix the clutch lever? just got another one from the forum? My shift level is bent a little. And my gas tank is still scratched.. Havent gotten around to giving it to my friend that owns a body shop.. Fixed the water pump cover/hose to get it ridable again.

I replaced the levers with mad hornets, and got CRG bar end mirrors

Ouch! I did the same thing with just 400 miles on the clock cept I was on the bike> I did the complete motion of putting down the side stand then proceeded to toss the bike in that direction when I quickly found out it was not down. I had to do a dive off the bike just glad it was in the grass so no damage. Like everyone else has said it happens to all of us been riding since 1983 and that was the first time I did something like that.

With the lever still on the bike, I used a 3 foot length of 1" steel pipe to pry it back to its original shape. used about a 1" block of wood between the bar and the lever to get enough clearance for the pipe to travel. Slid the pipe over the end of the lever and bent it back.

@DoubleRGirl You wouldn't happen to know of a place to find OEM rims for a 2007 600RR for decently cheap?

I imagine you'll have to go to unite local dealer, but I'd check 600rr.net for used ones. Have you thought about just upgrading?
