No it is a full blown buyback from the coprate office, the dealer has nothing to do with this but take back the truck amd ship it to where ever

Well trade in was 24k because of its long service record, even though it was all warrenty work and they refuse to do anything and said it was fine, but buyback i should get around 30-32k back which is deducted from millage and includes the 2k from accessories back, i bought for 33k but the new trucks are expenive

 

Yea according to lemon law rules, which deducts from millage which is around 5-6k amd new full sized go for 40k so i get back 30 but spend 40

1. Total cash paid to acquire the vehicle, reduced by any manufacturer rebate, if applicable;

2. The amount of any allowance for a trade-in vehicle. (See Number 4 in the "If You Financed the Purchase of Your Vehicle" section and the "Important Note About Trade-in Allowances.")

3. The amount of any reasonable "collateral charges" not included in the cash paid to acquire the vehicle (costs wholly incurred as a result of the acquisition of the vehicle, e.g. window tinting, extended warranty, additional items installed in/on the vehicle, etc.). You should have some documentation or other proof of the amount paid, such as canceled checks, receipts, invoices, etc.

To arrive at a total, add the amounts in numbers 1 through 3, above (if your trade-in allowance is a negative, the effect will be to subtract that amount), then, subtract the offset for use, and then add the total of any amounts in number 4.

IF YOU ARE SEEKING A REPLACEMENT VEHICLE, the Lemon Law defines a "replacement motor vehicle" as a motor vehicle which is identical or reasonably equivalent to the motor vehicle being replaced, as the motor vehicle being replaced existed at the time of acquisition. "Reasonably equivalent to the motor vehicle to be replaced" means the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of the replacement vehicle shall not exceed 105 percent of the MSRP of the vehicle being replaced. In the case of a recreation vehicle, the retail price of the replacement recreation vehicle shall not exceed 105 percent of the purchase price of the recreation vehicle being replaced. Agreed. Regardless of if the dealer is involved or not, it would be an absolutely vacuous decision by Toyota and the dealership alike to not hold you obliged to sign a non-disclosure agreement. The whole point is to sweep this under the rug..

Sorry, i gave a ballpark, because i dont even know exact price back, but they deduct millage, but add to price with stuff i put on the truck, so i lose about 5k on the truck getting 30k but new trucks cost 40k plus tax

ok real quick, if you get $30K back from Toyota and decide to buy something bigger that cost $10K more that's on you, you're not losing money, you chose to spend more on something else. You're only loosing the difference in what you paid cash, say $35K less the mileage say $5K. Or did I miss read your post

No you are right, but it is kinda my fault i did not explain good enough, but even if i get a truck the same price i still lose out on the tax i paid on my truck and the new truck

 

Navigating Lemon laws can be a pain in the ass as I leaned with Ford even know I went through Ford with the case it worked out in my favor....
