Toyota Is Buying Back My Tacoma

Yea Toyota is being a ass about it, giving me a hard time, kind of why i dont want to stay with them

Buying a more expensive truck is not losing money. It's making a choice to purchase something more expensive. The new truck you buy is still worth whatever you pay. You have only lost the difference of what you paid vs what you are paid.

 

Well al the numbers i am spitting out are estimates, but i lose 5k on millage, plus the tax on my truck, cant rember what it is, but fl has some of the highest taxes, and the new truck come close to the 5k

 

Yea your right, i figured i have the chance to do it might as well, but i just posted with taxes on new truck even if it was same value, sorry i wasent clear

 

If you have the paperwork you say you do from corporate but are only waiting for them to sign off on it you should have much better than off the hip estimates

 

Thats strange I got back all money paid down payment taxes etc and 14 Months of payments I just lost dealer fees of about 500 bucks....

 

I have the paper work saying they will buy back for paid pirce minus millage. They wont give me the exact amount until they know add ons, condition of vehicel, they have to inspect for damage, and do all sorts of stuff, but the truck is in tip top shape, only damage is a door ding some ahole gave me, but it is really tiny.

 

FL is greedy they want more money and scew us middle class people out

Fl is 6% use tax on cars and trucks sold.....

 

Funny part is the ding was caused by a truck hateing bicth who was a serriff becuase i went down a dirt road at an event i volunteer at and she got back at me, even though there were 5 cars and me creating all that dust but she wanted to blame it on me

 

I thought i was 8%, but i could be wrong

 

If i'm not mistaken when you return something you get the tax back they cant keep your money.....

 

Well it does depend on what County you are in as some have a local discretionary sales surtax, which applies to the first $5,000 of the price

 

No problem, and what happend was i told people i went down a dirt road, but took it as dessert raceing so when i denied the extreeme use it got out of hand and someone read the post wrong and it turned to a shit storm.
