If you get the coopers you will still be the Michelin Man in my heart. :D

Edit: not in a gay way of course.

Yes this is the first set I have had. I think I have 15,000 miles on them. I have to check. I went to Moab four times last year, choke Cherry Canyon about seven times last year, high mountain passes about 15 times last year, Toyota Jambo including iron chest, seven trips to the ski areas, five or six air downs to Single digits for snow crawling. And you saw the tread wear compares to my spare. Single digits for snow crawling. And you saw the where that they have compared to new my guess is they still have 13/32 on them.

I had a good lick at the poker game last night so I'm sizing up thanks to the poker boys.

Moving on up! I don't get why you wouldn't go to 35's at that point!

Good lord that thing is badass. Been telling him for 4 years that I would see him at RT, missed him this year. Great guy

Looking like it'll be the cooper's.
Discount just called back after I emailed the quotes to them and they're beating big o by a bit so....

Only catch is they won't be in until next week. Good thing my commute is only 4 miles on the fantabulous swamp monster.

And Chris, I have no idea what you're rambling on about with the poker thing but

I was running a generously gifted spare (thanks @BDN !) and while it was a bit ummm... different than my Michelins, it was at least the same size.

If I went to 315s, I'd have to get a 315 spare. Not a deal breaker in and of itself, but I have no desire to regear for 315s.

One of the mighty Michelins will become my spare now :D

I didn't think you were actually going to do it!

In light of this joyous occasion, I've improved upon Dylan's rhyme:

    Michelin Man
    Michelin Man
    Goes wherever his Michelin's can
    Which isn't on some rocks
    Because sidewalls go pop
Then he rolls on three to the tire shop
    A second sidewall was teared
    Which gave me a scare
But lucky for him Ray had two spares
There's a tear in his eye
    As the Michelin's go bye
'Why oh why must the Michelin's die!'
    Only one will remain
    As he states with disdain
'Michelin why must you cause me such pain!'
    A tire they quite creating
    Led to serious decision making
    Now with a surprise
We all can't believe our eyes
    Real tires installed
    Coopers they're called
    The name will live on
    even with the tires gone
    Michelin Man
    Michelin Man
    Goes wherever his Coopers can
    Which is on some rocks
    'cause sidewalls don't pop

It might have been in English if it wasn't a completely worthless degree. I quite enjoyed Humanities too.

to many to list, check the build thread
so did you stick with 285's in the coopers? good choice buddy!!

noah, i probably won't be stepping up to 305 or 315's anytime soon. If my wife decides to let me get a DD then maybe just maybe in the next few years ill consider 305's. I was never gonna jump from 265's to 315's thats just silly!! :D
