We went to support our #722 truck up through the summit between RM98-115 and on terrain that was roughest I've been in for a Bronco on 39's with links I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw class 11's (VW bug stock) go through that. Those who made it past that have some serious skill.

The summit is something else for sure. Craziest baja 500 ever without a doubt, deaths, bottle necks, it was hot as f@$k, etc, etc you name it. Can't wait for the 1000. Rosario will be crap, maybe less crappy than Imperial valley though.

So ive been planning to go check out some baja races, but friends and family keep saying that its still very dangerous due to all that drug trade and cartel shit. Is that foreals or not? and do you buy separate insurance each time you head down?b

My insurance covers 100 miles south the border.... I go down there 4 times a year and I've always came back alive. Been doing this for 7 years now.

Not dangerous by any means during races. I would go down there any day and be be fine. Locals like you, food is great and English is well spoken.

I go 4-6 times a year, the old lady was born there and her family is still down there. I stick out like a sore thumb but have never gotten hassled. He'll I feel safer in Ensenada than I do i in downtown LA. Baja bound insurance is what our whole team uses and it's pretty cheap. Just bring money for the toll roads and don't be stupid and you won't have a problem. But Valley T has the best al pastor tacos in the world, no exaggeration

Nice! You as well. Your parents were the ones who owned that donut shop in walnut right?

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
White double cab here off the Archibald offramp in Ontario around 8am
Dark tail lights, light bar on the back, CB, predator(?) Steps, Glock and US flag on rear windows.

I don't think this counts as a spotting but I thought it was pretty cool.
