I know a route that will take us into a spot where all can discharge arms and end up in Big Bear for a brewery refreshment. I call it the Mimosa Trail.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
A standard AK-pattern rifle has a "slant brake" by default on the muzzle which gives it a tendency to kick not straight back/up.

Perspective is kind of hard but those look like some big boys, too! Got some calipers to take measurements? Look at least above 30 cal and boat tails? Those are some quality slugs*.

edit  I did it again

Yeah .308 or .303 is certainly possible. If they're actually .308 boat tails, depending on grain weight, you could off them for good money to guys who shoot .308 or 30-06 on the regular.

Oh wait, we mentioned no more gun talk up in here?

Anybody up to do Drink Water this weekend with the Rowher Flats BS thread? https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/rowher-flats-bbq-fiesta-trail-rides-bs-6-25-16.425646/page-103 @goblue82 put together the Big Bear trip, I'm in!

There are plenty of spots there that are 2wd friendly!I'll have to refresh my mind and get my trail book out to remember the locations! There was one particular area that would be considered more 4X4 friendlier in case of certain situations but myself and a few other's were able to conquer it in our 2wd PreCummer's!I sure enjoyed it even with a few light pucker upper moments!

Keep an eye on the Crossroads Gun Show, it just passed through Costa Mesa but it'll likely do a trip into Ontario soon. You could always look at prices and then post to Gun broker or something similar.

True. Also check out like calguns.com to unload them, there's gonna be guys who reload on there.

If I were gearing up to reload I might take some off your hands assuming they were actually .308 and not super heavy grain. I don't have a press, just plenty of once fired brass unfortunately.

So I just got word that my start date for my new job has been pushed back to the 27th due to.... well slackers in HR and processing my FBI background check was delayed due to government blah blah. anyhow...I'm now gainfully unemployed till the end of the month. Which means with the exception of this weekend and next weekend I'm open to wheel, camp, shoot, fish whatever so stoked! Who's free weekdays? Could possibly do a wheel/shoot/ and brew day the 25 or 26th as well. Thoughts?
