Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
It's.not sophisticated at all, I stuck some industrial strength Velcro on the dash (about 2" worth) and the other half on the back of the battery adapter which goes to the 12v aux power.

It held up on some gnarly fast driving this past Saturday so I'm thoroughly impressed. A larger strip is more stable than a smaller one of course.

I'll be moving the CB's microphone to a different t spot soon, gonna take some mods to get it stable.

Is that a A-trac button I see at the bottom! Some of the off road editions don't come with it. Have you used it? I haven't been in a position where I really need to use it but its suppose to be awsome.

I actually haven't yet although I can think of a situation at Rowher the first time through where it likely would have helped me get out of a stupid idea. I like having my rear end locked whenever I need it since I've done the locker any time. I'd agree though haven't needed it yet, but hindsight being what it is I bet it would have helped in a place or two.

Heheh I knew that road was relatively smooth and decided to really open it up. :D I hit the rear end pretty good and it's probably time to look at getting better bump cans, maybe pick up some King air stops? I'll have to look into if that makes more sense than just waiting for a real caged rear end.

Nope, didn't see any x runners. And yeah I forgot they said it was by appointment only, but we were in the area and they were nice enough to let us in.

I won't be making the drinkwater run this weekend, BUT a couple friends of mine are doing some trails and camping in Big Bear after we watch the races at Glen Helen on Saturday. If anyone wants to join you're more than welcome.

If you are talking about Drinkwater, there are a couple spots you would need a tug.

Big bear would be getting pulled around all day lol

You talking about the Drinkwater Flats run we're doing this weekend or the Rowher Flats run at the end of the month? Rowher is fine for 2wd as there are multiple trails all over the park ranging from easy to difficult. The Drinkwater Flats run this weekend though, I'm not sure...I haven't done it yet so I couldn't say. It looks like there are options for easier routes from the pics I've seen. @Jimmynolife @Sandtaco is Drinkwater 2wd friendly for the Prerunners?

edit: nevermind I type too much and @Jimmynolife beat me to it lol

not the one this weekend. Rowher flats would be the one I'd shoot for. Would be my first time offroading. Just got my stock 06 prerunner. Has k02 and everything else is stock

You'll be fine at Rowher if you stick to the staging areas and the surrounding trails. The main Rowher Trail that cuts through the park and out to the other side by the Bouquet Reservoir is definitely 4x4 only, as is the Lookout Trail. But there's lots of other little spots to play around it and would be good for learning on. I used to take my '99 Prerunner out to Rowher all the time when I was younger. I managed to get myself stuck a few times...once in the middle of the night. That was fun :anonymous:
