    enough to go over stuff
It will feel powerful but you will be at high rpms if you speed on the highway.

I guess 4:56 is safe and better all around. I took a 3000 mile road trip with the 35's on stock gears, and it sucks! It'll down shift and won't up shift, no power on the highway. Anyway,I'm selling my DB truck and going MT and 35's... Finally wise up and want to do it right this time! Thanks for the help.

4.88s @ 75 MPH (or even 80) isn't bad on the highway (around 3k rpms). I still get 14 MPG, only lose 2 MPG over 4.56s.

It really depends on what you're doing with the truck ... and if you care about MPG or not

Yes. Was thinking about a '16, but I'm not sure about that tranny. And with the 6 speed in the '16, maybe 4:88 will be even better? I haven't heard much about regear on the new trucks yet. I have an '08 DCSB also, but that's my DD guaranteed to not let me down go anywhere transportation. lol.

Ouch, tough call. 2nd gens are priced as high as the 16s. Are in a position to private sell yours and perhaps find a decent modded 2nd gen on here or CL?

Yeah I'm pretty fluid. I just have a hair up my ass over a '16 quicksand DCSB OR. I want one and I don't know why. I think the thing is that I've had the DB for over a year and it was cool, but I'm over it now. I still love it but I'm just not in it anymore. I want something more usable and capable, and not so show pony mall crawler.

Tough decision for some, not so much for others. I love my 15 and couldn't be happier after trading in the 08 sport. I personally cannot get into the looks of the 3rd gen.
If it were me, I'd find a used 2nd gen.

I get that. For me it's not so much the looks as it is the powertrain. Love the profile but not crazy about the nose. I have been looking at used 2nd gens also.

I kinda wish I went 4.88, I do a lot of city driving, the added low end would be nice. Freeway I get about 12mpg. City 9-10mpg. Even my turck in its current form without bedrack/rtt/etc yet. My MPG's don't change much from adding/removing stuff...

Anyways heres a recent pic just because everyone likes pictures.

    35 x 12.5 x 17 +3.5 LT up front and DMZ LT rear.
