    This is awesome. Tempted to order one even though I have an automatic.

    Can you make one out of Delrin? No sense in having a 3/4" chunk of aluminum when the baseplate of the gas pedal is much flimsier.

    I could, but the pedal assembly is super sturdy and is lattice like in design. It also has aluminum inserts for a solid mounting pad. If I were to make one out of delrin I'd be worried about flex in the delrin itself causing the screws to loosen.

    You're essentially complaining about driving aids that are pretty much proven in design, I'm not just talking about the hand throttles but pedal spacers as well.

    Yeah something like that..... its how it is with my Honda grom project..... oh ill just do a mild big bore kit.... well while im there, may as well do a cam, and thus valve springs..... well then i need cam chain tensioner upgrades, then fueling upgrades.... etc etc etc

    I don't care what it looks like. It's awesome! I had some good practice with the hand throttle today. Badass. I adjusted to the new throttle position almost immediately. The brake feels squishier now because it pushes so much further than the new gas pedal position.

    Know of any third gen guys that used these? Can't seem to heel-toe properly like I could in the ol' corolla, can't roll my ankle either that is god awful, figured this extra height would make it loads easier. Little sketched to mess with the gas pedal on a brand new truck though.
