Hey man got a question for you. I got the same lift kit as you and by chance the same truck! They installed my spring seats upside down so the front barely even looks like it's lifted. When they fix it they said to maybe put some 1/4 inch top plate spacers in to make it more level. With your setup now do you have any top plate spacers and does your back end sit a little higher than the front? Heard OME always sits ass high. Thank you.

I bought my truck from them. I had spoke with Jesse, service manager, and he was a jerk. I even reported him, he basically told me in so many words that I didn't know what I was talking about.
Ended up taking my truck to Livermore Toyota, Marshall helped me with my concerns. He was awesome, had my tranny fluid checked, which was a quart low. Can't say enough good things about Livermore Toyota.....

What amount of lift did you get with the rough country. Did you need it to put those tires on? Looks great

How far back did it move your axel when you put on the chaos UCA's? Looking at UCA's after I did my 3" but trying to get an idea of rub factor with 285's

I got my kit from @HeadStrong Off-Road. I had coils assembled by them and they put 1/4" spacer in the one I put on the drivers side. The Dakars have one set with a little more umpf as well for the driver side. The SumoSprings add maybe 1/2" in the back...so far I've got about 2 1/4" lift in the front and about 3 1/4" in the rear. I think the rear will calm down a bit, but I kinda like a lil rake myself.

I have noticed slight rubbing when it is at its sharpest point turning or backing up.. it is hardly noticeable. Im going to take off the mud flaps and see if that takes it away.

well, wasn't "done" today, but I finally made my appointment for my new tires to go on. A week from tomorrow, and I can't wait. Oh, and I finally put in my center console organizer.. Simple mod, yet very practical for my OCD.

Does the block measure 1 inch or total lift measures 2 inches over original hub to fender measurement?

Got my Stealth 6s mounted with Falken Wildpeaks today. I gotta get a pic with better light after I get her cleaned up. Had to do a lot of editing to get the wheels to show up...but I'm digging it :D

Just got to Hawaii and I've never seen so many Tacoma's on the road, very strange but impressive! I've seen at least a hundred in just a few days. Exciting to see

What I'm thinking about doing to my 3rd gen.... Has anyone seen the smittybilt black box? It looks fairly interesting. Basically a metal box that has locking compartments for holding a winch, fairlead mount, tow straps, even cutouts for a couple of lights. The "black box" fits into 2" receivers like the cbi recovery point or your tow hitch. There are a couple of pictures of it mounted on a superduty on the smitybilt website and it looks nice on the larger bodied trucks. I imagine it would be a fairly heavy SOB to move all loaded up.
It looks like a cool alternative to the humongous heavy metal bumpers and more versatile than the hidden winch setups.
Has anyone actually seen one of these aside from just pictures and can provide some feedback?
I searched the forums and found nothing.
