Please get anything but a Toyota. Go play Baja 500 in a bone stock Ford or Dodge, ruin the suspension, and then go complain on their forums when the truck no longer drives like it's brand new. You're literally exhausting.

    :annoyed:

Dodges reply to their awful showing:

"Our vehicles are designed for real-world performance and no single test determines overall, real-world vehicle safety," spokesman Eric Mayne said.

That overlap test video is gross for Dodge, but.... people will still buy the truck even with a poor safety rating.

So, is the video of the offroad experience of the OPs truck still around?

So....the REAL DEAL I get from this piece of shit thread is:

OP bought a truck that wouldn't go where his "buddies" 4x4's would go. He starts to cry and pout.
He goes home to think up a scheme to get out of said truck so he can get one that will go where his "friends" trucks will go.

You are one of the reasons we can't have neat things!

Because Toyota is a special snowflake and never have any manufacturing defects. Even with all the weirdness with the story, you don't think that any of this could be a possibility?

Yes. Parts of it are very feasible. That's why we tried to help him. If you've followed the whole story you know that it can't be true in its entirety. I don't doubt he had sand in his leafs and they squeaked. That happens and you fix it. He chose to whine and concoct an epic tale just to get attention. He even managed to get the mods to delete the original thread so that those new to the story can't Educate themselves to the depth of his bullshit. If the story was true, he could choose to not create a thread and just get the problem dealt with. He's here for the attention, not a resolution.
