Was offered a TRD 4WD DCLB OR (7568) for $31958 before TTL. Was tempting.

Nope that's straight up price offered before ttl and trade in. They offered me $30k for my trade. I'm really tempted to trade my 15 for it.

Where did you get this deal from? And you say that was before tax title and license?

Tarbox Toyota, it was their price quote, I never made it to dealer as its a drive and decided to hold onto my 2015, but had email with Andrew there in sales.

    Ladies/Gents,

Thoughts on a Limited 4x4 with the below:

    Tonneau Cover (Bleh)
    Tow Package
    Carpet Floor Mats w/Door Sill
    Exhaust Tip
    Mudguards
    Wheel Locks

Dealer quote (GOOD FOR ONLY 48 HOURS MUST HURRY! yeah right):

$36,563 before tax, title, etc but including destination.

That feels like a good deal to me, but I need a sanity check. Thanks!

I’m in San Diego and I've been working with the local dealer that participates in the Costco Auto Program. Back in Sept, the price was set at invoice + $500. Pricing has changed a lot since then. On top of the base price increases ($333/$360), the dealer is now charging the Costco $500 plus an additional $300 for all 4x2 and an additional $600 for all 4x4. So with the base price increase of $333 and with the Costco price now at $1,100 for a 4x4, I’ll be paying $933 more for the same truck than a couple of months ago.

Anybody else in Southern CA know of a Costco dealer who is charging less for a 4x4?

The dealer emailed me a price sheet showing the MSRP and dealer prices for a 4x4 DCSB OR A/T. This particular truck has JBL, Tonneau, Tow, Carpet Floor Mats w/Door Sill, D-rings, Exhaust Tip, and Mudguards. The prices for the JBL, Tonneau, Tow, and D-rings match what’s on page 1. However, the invoice prices are significantly higher for the Floor Mats (180/149), Exhaust Tip (74/60), and Mudguards (116/95). The first number is the listed dealer price and the second number is from page 1. What is also interesting is that the invoice lists Preferred Owner’s Portfolio for another $6, whereas page 1 has it listed for $0. BTW, the MSRP is $40,430 (incl. TDA & Dest.); the dealer is offering this truck to me for $38,480 (incl. TDA & Dest.) + fees.

Does anybody know if the dealer can manipulate what dealer prices shows on the dealer price sheet or are some SoCal invoice prices more than other areas?
As far as TDA, is $611 set by Toyota Corp?
What can I expect to pay for Title and License in CA for a 4x4 DCSB OR A/T?

Thanks in advance for your input!

as far as the DK option, the price Toyota charges has always been Zero, but I have seen some regions charge $6 for the DK option. but If you ask nicely from some dealers they will throw one in for free. best bet, keep your old one and transfer to a new vehicle.

for the increase in invoice pricing I haven't seen any confirmations yet on those items. I am pretty such they raised the invoice pricing across the board for minor items. easier to markup cheap stuff than the big costly items.

Has anyone had the experience where a dealer tried to charge them more than MSRP for options, as an installation fee? For example:

    Tonneau Cover (TC): Invoice = $765.00 / MSRP = $859.00
    They want to charge $900

    Roof Rack (DR): Invoice = $279.00 MSRP = $399.00
    They want to charge $415
