I've always run yellow/ambers in my fogs because allegedly yellow light penetrates further because of its longer wavelength. I'm not really sure how accurate it is, but frankly I kind of like the look. Because racecar of course.

I also like that it doesn't blast light at the ground closer to my vehicle so it's a little easier for your eyes to transition from the dark interior to the bright roadway ahead.

    Nothing worthy
Are these flexible or rigid like the stock ones? They look rigid.
Ive almost ripped 3 of mine off, afraid I'm gonna do damage to to body.
NEED some nice flexible options if anyone has a good source?

Which one did you end up getting? It's on my wish list along with a double battery setup and under hood compressor. Seen a few different catch cans on here.

Try bug & tar remover. If that doesn't work, you may have to clay bar. I've never heard of WD40 for removing road tar (or anything for that matter).

Nevermind: I looked at your pics again and saw that it did work. I'll have to keep that in mind...

Thank you. I was going through all of the fuses in the engine bay near the battery. No wonder I couldn't find it.

Into the dash light wiring is easy, it's just the light green wire on the with itself...as for adding additional cargo lights, these images are the tech diagrams for wiring the OEM additional bed lights.a5df90609ac737f637909d557570b9f0.jpgaadf4f90387956f09685cad8adc7424d.jpg

WD40 works great as a solvent. I use it to remove the goo off of places I had stickers or like the badges on your truck. I believe its also water based so it doesn't harm paint.

Yeah believe me, I tried every damn wire coming out of that for power to additional lights, turns out the whole thing is relayed in like 3 different places. Those diagrams are the wires coming FROM the relay, which definitely makes it easier.

Ya it seems to have worked great. People online were recommending it over actual tar/goo/bug removal products. Spray it on, wait 10 seconds and just gently wipe it with a wash mitt and it came right off. Got a little mucky when it contacts the wet wash mitt and turns into a kind of waxy substances.

It's petroleum based, but not super heavy. Our paint have to withstand mild petroleum exposure due to gas and oil spills. Id spray on a rag and go from there
