    I broke my collar bone and had an AC separation playing rugby in 2008. My left collar bone is significantly higher than my right and pointy as fuck as a result. I opted not to have surgery. It took me YEARS to recover from that injury; that was the reason I stopped lifting for 6 years. It still gives me problems today.

    Wishing you a speedy recovery @Newlife. Hopefully your injury isn't anything like mine was. Shoulders are a fickle body part.

    I'm a almost 1.5 years into my built house. It was def cool and def streesful. Only took them 3 months 1 week to build mine. I think it helps we're friends of the family with the builders. They didn't bullshit at all.

    I'm just getting someone to dry it in, then I'm moving in and doing floors and walls and all that stuff myself. Work, gym, home to work on the house, bed probably 1-2 am, then do it all over again. Until it's done.

    Just left the Ortho. It's not a level three it's a level 5. Surgery is scheduled for Tuesday morning. No gym for 2-3 weeks no running no nothing that can jar it.

    June was our 1.5year mark. The co. that built ours went out of business by mo. 6. Part of the reason it took them so long to build. They were contracting all the labor but never paying the contractors when the bills were due so they would quit working. For some reason they would eventually agree to work again after they got late payment. Our neighbors built/moved in 6mos. after us and had to pay out of pocket to the contractors the final 3 months because the builder was broke.

    Our house is awesome, but it was such a PITA

    Good luck with the recovery man! Make sure you don't push it after the surgery. I know how much it sucks, I'm just now getting back into lifting after my second surgery and it always blows a mean dick when you first pick it back up.

    I was gonna do all my own electrical until we talked about timelines. I would've had to quit working to work on the house all day to meet the same deadlines and that just wasn't gonna happen. I also has them break down electrical cost and labor was only $2500. I said fuck it I'll pay that. Haha
    Out of pocket? Holy shit. And that's a shady ass contractor. That's fucked man. But glad it worked out for you anyway.
