Just a bunch of old crap
Got that goddamn steering rack replaced yesterday by myself. Something in the front end is still making a popping when wheel is at full turn when NOT driving. Literally the only thing I have NOT replaced in the entire front end is the passenger LCA. It's in the shop for alignment and investigation. If it's LCA, I'm good with that because the driver's side LCA is only a year old while the passenger side one is 10 years old (except for bushings).

Could very well be a shredded bushing. Are you sure its not a cab mount bushing as well?

I've been told that popping is outer tie rods.

Except that I replaced those with new ones when I did the rack, so it's not that.

Interesting. Never crossed my mind. Popping from those bushings just by turning the wheel though?

Aren't you the energetic one! I hope you had an air conditioned shop to work in. If you could have someone in the drivers seat turning the wheel while you are under the truck you might be able to see movement when that popping sound occurs. Might be a worn bushing?

All bushings in the front end are less than a year old, most are a month old. I've tried doing the tandem turn-the-wheel-while-we-listen and we thought for sure it was the steering rack. It was bad anyways, but it wasn't the solution for the popping. It sounds like metal on metal, like a dry ball joint or something. Hopefully the shop sheds some new light on it that I may have overlooked. They already said that the one non-new ball joint on the passenger LCA seems fine after inspection.

Yes, shifting weight in the cab and frame flex. Also give your bed bolts as well ad ubolts/shackles a torque

I'll check the body bushings in the front. It's definitely a front-end noise and I can feel it in the steering wheel.

I don't know why but this just bugs me.

I went to Tacobell drive through and ordered 4 items. I pull up to the window and pay, the lady asks me if I want hot sauce?

    I said yes, hot please.

She asked me "how many would you like?".

Now I've worked at Tacobell before, I've ate there for years, and not once have I been asked how many packets of sauce I want. Totally threw me off.

    So I said 7.

Get home, 3 fucking packets of sauce. 3! WHY THE FUCK DID YOU ASK ME HOW MANY I WANTED THEN CRUSH MY SOUL BY GIVING ME LESS HOT SAUCE PACKETS THEN ITEMS I ORDERED!!!

It happens at the one by me as well, sometimes they ask amount other times they don't, and then it's almost never right anyways. At least chick fil a asks amount but gets it right, and McDonald's ask for the sauces as well but that's because they charge for them after a few.
