Got these bad boys in thanks to @VLocos24! Awesome guy to work with and made sure they didn't get damaged in shipping. Now I can't wait until I can get them wired up Sunday!

Yes sir, WD 40 has many great uses. I actually use it on my kayaks. It's a good protectant for plastic surfaces, it keeps the plastic from becoming brittle under the sun.

    from their FAQ section:

What surfaces or materials are OK to use WD-40 Multi-Use Product on?
WD-40 Multi-Use Product can be used on just about everything. It is safe to use on metal, rubber, wood and plastic. It can also be applied to painted metal surfaces without harming the paint. Poly carbonate and clear polystyrene plastic are among the few surfaces on which to avoid using a petroleum-based product like WD-40 Multi-Use Product.

No problem man! I'll post some photos when I get them hooked up. I want others on here to know about the good honest sellers since there's been problems with people getting ripped off.

Just be sure to re-wax in the area any of the WD40 touched! I've used WD40 as a solvent paired with a magic eraser on paint transfer and it works great for that too. Just a bit of 3M polishing compound to get out any fine scratches in the clear coat and a quick wax after that.

Never done much research into wax. My Harley is a matte black, so I don't polish it, and I have never really waxed my vehicles unless its a spray on wax. Are there advantages to using a paste wipe on/buff out vs spray? I never really noticed results with the spray stuff.

Truck is at Toyota of Orange for its first service.

Requested a oil change and all the other things we've all heard.

Just got off the phone with them. Transmission was low and they are running test now to see if there is a issue with it.

They've had to rebuild two since the beginning of the year at this place.

So due to that, they are documenting everything to cover themselves if any issues arise.

Blacked out the front grill until I can decide on what I want on there. Plasti dip. Thank you Toyota for making that easy!
