Well he does have a 4 link and fuel cell so the underside of the cab is empty, I'm guessing he has the X pipe just being the transfer case ?...oh but wait the driveshaft is in the way too...hmmm?

My doors are the only stock things left besides the headlights
    Yay for bumper round 3!
First one did a hate crime on another yota in a head on
Second one just about detached itself at pismo( and now has a new home on another truck)

This version all DOM and welded to the frame. I'm going to slowly work my way back to fully caging the truck so I'm starting at the front.

So you wanted extra little stuff done with no notice on a Sunday, from someone who you never really provided any income for, and are perturbed when they don't get back to you quickly?

Maybe he had a personal emergency? Maybe his dog died and his truck wouldn't start and his life turned into a bad country song over the weekend?

Think about it from a more objective place. Before you look like an entitled dick.

 I'm pretty much done repeating myself to you kids about the request on a Sunday. And his reply back already established he had taken the day off on Sunday. Lol keyboard warriors up in here these days.

Just one more reason why I took my business elsewhere, customer service.

Well when he's a product production shop for kits its hard to have him do custom work as he gets many orders for kits and it's not something you put together in a day.

He's not a huge 15 man shop, but he has previous customers waiting on orders while people stay getting impatient while he is working on orders

Guess I'm just a kid hoping more adults could act like adults... Fuck me right?

When you find a shop willing to drop projects to make pennies to jerk someone off on a Sunday, let me know.
They probably won't be around for long

Lol again, did you read a thing I even said or are still so high up on your soap box you cant read. Ill reiterate for you illiterates, I didn't expect a reply on Sunday, I just hoped for one, I'm not even salty about it, what was disappointing was the lack of a reply 2 business days later while I was still in the area. Whatever though lol, like I said initially, no harm no foul, he didnt get my business and it wasnt an emergency, so no biggie, I just wouldn't recommend any business his way for anyone hoping to get a response promptly. Flame on, keyboard warriors!

Seen any bored over 6 cylinder G bodies? Like a Buick Regal? Or blown 6 cylinder Camaros/Mustangs? Seem like, check. Act like, check. Sound like, ummmm check. But ok. Us measly 6 cylinders will go to the corner and cry now. Some prefer to smoke 8 cylinder engines with 6 or 4. Mostly yes, 8 cylinder engines have a certain tone. Always and never tho, no.

Or what? Love how when you call out anyone around here it turns in to a flame fest. How hard is it to say "DTF has poor communication skills" regardless of how busy he is, if he's trying to run a business that should be a priority. Guess I have different expectations than everyone else in the world concernimg customer service.

Closed on Sundays is a pretty common thing dude, shoot we pretty much shut down the back shop entirely on weekends with the exception of a few guys that would like to work some overtime hours on longer term projects and we close the retail side a few hours early on Saturdays so the rest of us can go do the things we enjoy. People have to have lives. They have families and other things to do besides work. You cant work people to the bone. The guys I know that run 1 or 2 man shows are putting in even crazier hours working late into the night and social media or even general media are typically not even on their radar unless they are eating lunch or pooping so the fact that it took him a few days to respond to an emergency cry for help from someone that he had never done business with or had personal interaction with is no surprise and no harm done in my book.

Lol or what? ....really? Look man nobody wants to thumb through paragraphs of you complaining that no expert help was readily available to tell you what bolts to tighten on your fancy little truck ok, DTF is a small shop... Like two people work there. Obviously you were able to fix the truck yourself, so just go on about your business. Last time I went to pismo I broke my steering column off into my lap... I fixed it and went on about my day . As one should if they can fix it themselves. Not bitch and moan to people on the Internet who really don't give two shits about your opinion. So yes please just shut up

@Basikbiker Wow, or you can about your life and ignore my postings, thats whats great about the internet

@tubbsisland The only thing Im salty about is sending a business a message over the weekend (to which I said I didnt expect much response because I knew he was closed) and not getting a response on the 2 business days following that I was in town.

Whatever lol, lessons learned, despite warnings from other members I still tried to at least reach out to the guy and try to give him some business, it didn't work out, no sweat off my back I'll go to someone else.

How so? Throughout that entire ordeal I was the first to point out how crappy his communication skills were. And, thanks for proving my point, I never did business with him.
