There have been a couple members whining about it being tough getting in and out of the truck. Why the hell did you buy a truck that you think is difficult getting in and out of. That's not Toyota's fault, that's your dumbass fault for buying the truck.

I'm very happy with mine and haven't experienced anything the article mentions. Guess I got lucky.

I have 2 on my ignore list so I would not call that extensive.

Its not about being a pussy, its about having to read comments made from victims of our wussified society, these people are constant crybabies, they think everything is supposed to be their way.

Some people point the finger at others for what they are guilty of, they say listen to my view point but at the same time they could care less about your view point, they say it because it sounds good, it even makes them feel good about themselves to say such a comment.

I have seen several comments about age differences on several threads now, It does not matter to me how old or young a person is but it very easily read by myself and many others as to who the people are that were raised to be a wuss, because they never quit whining.

I am proud that I did not grow up in a wussified society. There was no such a thing as bullying.org, there was no such a thing as politically correct BS, there was no such a thing as that hurts my feelings waaaah....you manned up or got your ass whooped, and if you got your ass whooped, the next time you did what ever it took not to get your ass whooped.

The ignore list has a purpose and it works quite well, I don't have to waste my time reading what I believe to be BS. Others can do the same if they consider my comments to be BS, see... it works both ways, all is good in the neighborhood.

    .

As I go through Georgia, SC, NC & TN ... I see many utility company companies, i.e. Atlanta Gas & Southern Company with 2016 Tacomas and I see many "Utility Grade SR's" at dealerships now too. I counted 9 at one dealer today, mostly white & silver with "utility package" and no back seats & etc.

I saw 4 different 2016 Tacoma SR Orkin trucks today too.

It looks like some of the commercial guys are now going with 2016 SR's for their light duty work.

I have yet to see a Colorado or Canyon with these companies.

PS ... Many commercial companies were already starting to use Gen 2 Tacomas in last 3 years.

PPS .. I have seen a few Frontiers with utility marking companies.

Interesting. Out here we see Ford F150 and some Rangers. I never see Tacos for Utility Companies out here...

...^^^... Mostly F-150s here too ... but if they don't need the big bed, I see more Tacomas and this started with Atlanta Gas Light Co. (our main natural gas supplier) with Tacomas about 5 years ago.

After AGL started with Tacos ... the rest seem to follow.

AGL is smarter than the west coast companies..

Just like Enterprise etc. They now rent Camrys/Corollas..... figured out...Japnese cars are better for rentals.

...^^^... Benjamin Franklin ... in "Poor Richard's Almanac", said ... "Common Sense Is Not So Common" ... :)

Figure the above coupled with US companies trying to be PC and buy American ... but the Taco now is known to be more American than ... "Chevy, mom & apple pie" ...

PS ... That is why Enterprise grew from such a small family owned company so fast and became the leader ... they were not semi-controlled by the big 3. They were way ahead of the curve in cost per mile and trade in value.

PPS ... LotusCupCar ... you should be a VP of Marketing Strategies at Toyota ... :D

I am an EX VP there...just not of marketing ;) :D

All I know is, if I was VP of Marketing, I would make you VP of Product Development, so we could have S54 motors in everything :D :D

Even though Tacoma and Camry and Accord are more American than their Ford and GM counterparts, the middle America doesn't see it that way ;) Most of big three seem to be made in Ontario and Mexico

Just like my EJ was perfect, once the ring lands were fixed
and my Z3M coupe was perfect, once the subframe was fixed
Or how our ES was perfect after sludge issue was fixed
Or how our E36 was perfect after plastic cooling system was fixed ;)

I imagine Tacomas are bulletproof after frames are fixed, and vibrations are fixed,a nd tranny fluids are filled :D:D
