Starting this back up. We're going to be using @SMKYTXN. Let me know if you have any questions. Below is a picture of the patch.

The white parts will be glow in the dark. They're $12 a piece and 2.5" in diameter.

No. I'm running this one. That was someone else. Most of those people got their money back and who ever hasn't I'm getting the funds from him.

So it is the same group buy, just being handled by you. Those that have been refunded their money, are the removed from the list above or are they sending you the money for the patches now?

We just want to make sure people are getting what they paid for in a timely manner and there is full disclosure from the GB organizer.

No. This was the list taken from the other buy. I'm not sure who is still interested in buying one but if you paid you will receive them. The patches are being made now so it may take a little bit to get them to me and then mailed out to you guys but it is in the works. If you don't want to pay till I have patches in hand I do understand. But this was the list that I saw earlier and I basically copied and pasted to see who's interested still and get more people interested.

I understand. I informed people the patches are being worked on now. And that I understand 100% if they want to hold off paying till I have them in hand.

Well full disclosure. The guy we had ended up coming out with his own patch......so they're on the trail toys site. If you want to get that one hats fine but I'm still trying to find someone to make his patch still. Let me know if you want your money back. Sorry guys. I'm trying but it's frustrating when your ideas are taken by someone else.

Sorry. I'm still trying. I'm reaching out to a few people but nothing is guaranteed. I didn't expect that but then again people surprise you when it comes to money.

How about a new rule? This is the second group buy to fall apart after funds are requested because the seller doesn't have anything lined up.

Not sure if it's the crew running these behind the curtain or what, but it's pretty fucked that this failed twice.

Some kind of formal requirements maybe before a group buy is able to be posted? Wasting a lot of time, money shifting around too much, and way too much drama that could be avoided if people were doing these correctly.

    Just an idea.

    Let there be requirements.

@GARSHA91 With all due respect, you went from this
    to
This group buy is not happening unless whoever is running it at any given moment can show the staff via PM that they're actually ready to ship.

Thankfully this is the exception and it's not too common, otherwise we would have to create some sort of policy about this. I agree with you 100% though

I never requested money from anyone though. I thought it was a go and now I found out he made his own. I'm going to refund the one who paid since that's all I have. I'll come back when I have the actual patch if people still want it.

    I dunno.

If a group buy is being orchestrated by a member through a business that is providing a code or similar method for members to buy in stock inventory then it's all good, but if a group buy is being orchestrated by a member and that person is the one receiving funds I still think the items should be in hand. Not in order, not being made, not in the mail.

Members have a lot less risk (in many ways) buying from a company via a TW member versus buying direct from a member without proof of product.

$12 a patch and 40 patches with interested buyers isn't a small chunk of change if shit hits the fan with the items or the seller. Especially when it happens multiple times.

I only had one person pay me for 3 patches and that money has already been refunded to him since I found out that Nathan already made one. I'm going to try but I won't come back till I have patches in hand and get the ok from tcbob.
