With the savings I think you would want to find a better solution than zip ties. Nothing like 20lbs of metal flying off the roof going down the road at the least appropriate time.

 

I'll be going up to Portland on Friday. If any anyone needs something taken up from or brought back down to southern OR.

Hmm, I've got an odd issue where when I'm coming to a stop, I get a rumbly/buzzy feeling. I can't tell if that's just the buzz from the tire lugs or there's something else going on? Anyone else get this with KO2s?

 

I've been getting that with my brakes lately. Only after a long downhill braking period though.

 

Oh I realized that, it's just I've seen some crazy crap on the top of people's vehicles. Usually the worst is construction guys. Lol

Him: We aren't supposed to allow anything related to guns!

Don't ever give that plate back. If they say you can't use it hang it on your wall. It may be a unicorn.

 

Oh, I'm for sure keeping the plates. I thought custom plates were a one time fee, but its an extra $100 every 2 years, so I'm back to peasant plates haha. Still gonna keep the custom ones though.

 

I thought the same thing with my military vet plates, nope $33/year...

 

On that note, for OR, veterans just have to have a rating (any service connected disability) to get permanent plates for one vehicle. All you need is either your DD214 with service connected disability or a VA letter. If you need a placard, the regular standards must be met.
I think WA has a 100% rating requirement.

Its a character's license plate from a movie. Makes sense if you've seen it and know me haha.

Pretty ridiculous to charge veterans, but not surprised they do that.

 

I know the movie and linger in this thread enough to not be surprised you would have that plate....

 

Is that Tremors I am recognizing?
