You must have been watching the soccer one the pens fans were talking about.

 

I was under the impression he was saying the pens were going to put crazy pressure when he was pulled.

 

The Penguins didn't do enough of anything obviously!They still look like the overall better team!

Yes obviously they didn't, but he posted that before he was pulled, we're not capable of precognition like pens fans. And yes they have been the superior team, I don't think anyone is arguing that.

I'm assuming he thought I posted the statement about shit going down when they pull Murray post ENG, as opposed to pre-pulling of the goalie like I actually did

Crazy game. Woulda liked to see them win at home but as long as they win the cup I'll be happy. Was a fun time either way till the end. Shit head drunk people always ruin good times.

Very sad to hear this. Mr. Hockey is easily the biggest reason I love hockey so much. My Uncle took us to a WHA game between the Edmonton Oilers and the Hartford Whalers, back in 1978. I remember watching Gordie play. And at the end of the 3rd period, I joined a large group of kids that huddled around the Whalers exit tunnel. I was lucky enough to pat Gordie on the back, as he passed by. It cemented my love for Hockey - and the game cemented my love for the Oilers (something I often question - now a days). Sad news!!

 

Nice!! And that's right. It was the New England Whalers at the time. Not Hartford yet.
