There's s start button. Windows 10 is not a quick upgrade and you may feel like it's frozen, but it's not. It may be something you let run overnight.

Windows 10 is way better than 8. I couldn't even figure out to install a program on it. I didn't like the "apps" thing. Start button is a lot better.

I had to manually do it.

10 is sorta like a mix between 8 and 7. You have a start button, but it's also has apps in the start up menu.

Yeah, I just have mine go to the desktop... by never shutting it off since it takes 3 years to start up ever since it was new. And I downloaded a start menu bar. Or else I would've gone office space on it a long time ago.

while i'm on a roll here...
fuck this corporate fucking world we live in and the paperwork involved in it.

So I am a business owner. Big deal, so are a lot of people.
If I apply for a job, bid a job, solicit work, etc, I am subject to the policies of the other party. That's Understood.
However, If another party calls me, they are under MY policy. Right? Whatever, I'm right.
You call me to unfuck your fuckup, you pay my invoice on the terms outlined.

So this has happened before, but venting now, I am called in to repair, they need it right now. I show up after a 90 minute drive, fix the issue, don't sell a thing but labor, customer is happy.
I send an invoice and I'm greeted with an invitation to APPLY for PRE-QUALIFICATION to work at the facility, basically applying for the privilege to fix their shit, and get paid within 90 days ...fuck you.
    Rant over.

So I've been organizing shit so I can back it up... the windows 10 update downloaded into a little button on the desktop, it almost automatically did it because I was not paying attention.

I opened it up and get an option to restart now or restart later... any easy way to wipe this clean before doing that?

"windows 10 upgrade assistant" is what its called. so im sure it downloaded the update to somewhere

So you'll actually have to upgrade to 10, save a file of 10 os on a usb, THEN wipe. Reinstall 10 from the usb.

I didn't back up or have to save anything. I just let it do it's thing and it was all there when it was done. Maybe I got lucky.

Yeah, it was a good time to organize the photos mainly. every time I got a new phone I'd just dump the pictures on the computer and start over.... what a mess. Its getting there, but sorting through them is quickly wearing down my GAF....

You might be okay just going straight over, but it MASSIVELY slowed my computer. I used one like this, just not sure which one exactly.
