Don't expect any height after they settle, don't try hauling any weight. I regret doing the recall and not keeping my TSB pack. I'm riding on my bump stops now even with my AAL. Ordering Dakars to replace them.

image.jpg We've done prob close to 100 so far and not one has left lower that when it came in. Reg can does have a diff part #. Check your springs and see what #s on them. These are the #s u SHOULD have(double and access)

Are those the same part numbers that should be used on the regular cab 4x4 too?

I installed a UBolt flip kit on my rear leafs a while back. Has anybody had any troubles with this recall and the flip kit? I am going to bring my truck in but I don't want to loose the flip kit in the process.

I just added the Wheelers single 2" AAL to mine and am very happy. I gained the full 2" lift (insert juvenile joke here!) and the ride seems far better.

Looking forward to seeing how things settle in a few months.

I need recommendations for gaining 2" in the rear. I am sitting a lot lower with these new leafs installed and not thrilled about it. What are my options and costs? Never thought I would be screwing with my suspension, but it may happen now.....................

A quick question for all of you that have removed/replaced leaf springs - if I may? I want to replace my Stock 2012 Truck bump stops with (http://timbren.com/timbren-ses/) Timbren assist rubber springs. I have all the parts but I'm leery/nervous of messing with the rear axle/suspension. (Causing line up issues, have the nuts / ubolts loosen/shift etc.). But, from what I read here - it's a piece of cake - just be sure it's done correctly and tighten properly (65 Ft Lbs? I believe.). Can a few of you that have removed/replaced you rear U bolts add comments to indicate if this is as simple as it looks - and caused any later problems ??? Any Tips? Much Appreciated to all!

Well, your post just sealed it for me and I am not going to be doing this recall. I have the TSB pack and no way do I want to lose height and worse, lose any weight capability from hauling.

I took my F250 apart once and rearched the springs in a press and added another leaf to the rear springs. No problems lining everything up, it only goes together one way. If the springs are too short to reach from one mounting bracket to the other because they don't have a load on them put a porta-power hydraulic ram between them and push them apart until they match up.

After reading other's experiences I'm thinking I won't get my springs replaced unless they break and I'll get Dakars or something soon.

New member here, I just got my recall done today. I cannot stress enough to check your setup after you get it back. I heard something rattling on the way home and found this.

toytec lift (eibach, bilstein 5100 at 0, Recall springs +Sumo Springs) seat covers, tint, weathertecs, shrokwork sliders, brute force rear bumper, in bed hi lift.
i had mine done today. i lost 1" going from the original 2010 3 leaf pack with wheeler 3 leaf aal installed, but with NO overload. its at 21 3/8" and matches the front eibach and 5100 at 0. it rides nice and the take off shutter is gone, but i'm bummed it lost the rake. i'll see if it looks stupid with a moto in the back before i do any changes though. No issues at my dealer about the aal and no preinspection was reqd. to order parts. It took 4 weeks for parts to arrive. This is on a michigan truck btw...

I'm actually hoping I lose a 1/2"-1". It will allow me to add the Archive Garage Shackle Filp without having to mess with the front. I currently have the new leafs with a 3 leaf AAL.
