Toytec AAL for TSB trucks?

What would happen if I installed it on my non-TSB leaf packs? Less lift? More lift? I need an alternative to the TSB to help out my soft 3-pack leafs, and the standard non-TSB AAL that I had on is too high in the back to run with stock front. Any thoughts?
I'm also looking a 4-pack leaf set if anyone wants to get rid of theirs.

 

Have you tried to swindle the dealership for TSB? Maybe at a discounted price at worst case scenario?

 

I think it would give you less lift. It is probably shorter than the regular one on account of the extra leaf in the tsb springs.

If you just put it on though, and think its too high, Id wait awhile. It will settle down over time.

welll you could get the billy 5100's for the front and just keep the non tsb leaf on or im pretty positive that you can get the tsb aal and just put it on the non tsb truck. so yes you can use the tsb aal for non tsb trucks

 

I'm not interested in Timbren's, from what I've seen it makes the ride harsh.

I'm confused what you are looking for...You profile says you are lifted already?? What parts do you have in the rear end right now??

I forgot about my profile, I need to change it. I had a lift, but as of right now I have stock rear 3-pack leafs, stock front springs, Bilstein 5100's set at .85 and it's about 1/4 to 1/2 inch lower in the rear, depending on how much gas I have in it.

 

Then why not just get the AAL for non-TSB 3 leaf springs in & bump the 5100s up enough to match whatever rake you want and be done? Or just use the one you have and bump the 5100s up?The non-TSB 3 leaf AAL will lift the back 1.5", I have it, it hasn't sagged any. It tightens up the back just fine. The front is set on 2.5, it leaves truck with 1.5 inches of rake. Set them on 1.75 and I'd have 2.25 inches of rake. Just depends on how much you want. Truck may not be all plush like long travel off road but it's OK & plenty nice on the road. Based on your post above, adding the 3 leaf AAL give you 1 - 1.25" of rake without even touching the front. How much lift are you after? What rake are you after?

 

I would do that if I could convince my dad that Bilsteins and a 1.5" AAL is not "jacking up" a truck and actually has its benefits...

 

Take him on a ride stock then with the AAL, he'll approve. World of difference cornering & hauling while cornering with just the AAL. I hated it without it, felt broke, way to wheel hoppy sketchy tumpy feeling. You could probably find an AAL or overload leaf that doesn't lift somewhere that'd help out the shitty 3 leaf rear action cheaper than one that does lift.

 

He says that the stock feel is "just a light truck".
