    I think the bicycle registration was something to do with locating stolen ones..............like they can't just peel the sticker off? It has been so long tho, I am not sure that was the original reason..............

    The kayaks and canoes and SUP boards that do not have motors are not taxed. I have talked to some who have the "scanoe" (can have motor added), and so far, they have not had to pay reg or taxes. But you go buy a busted ass john boat and they will find your ass to pay the reg and taxes (even if it has NO motor)

    different group doing the taxing. not like they dont get enough out of us from gas tax, property tax, vehicle registration/plate tax, sales tax, and income tax...just to name a few.
