    What "fitting" did you use at the back of the cb to get it far in like that? I know some have said use a 90* but havent really looked and when I did real quick, I couldnt find them.

    It's a PL-259 right angle connector. Most CB shops online will have it so whenever you go to buy all your stuff just add it on.

    Have you considered a Cobra 75 CB?

    I actually already have the cb and it mounted in the ashtray. When I did it, I remembered people using a 90 to make it sit more flush but have been putting off messing with it. Your post and picture reminded me. CB I got is a Cobra 19 DXIV

    Gotcha, thought you were looking to install a CB which is why I didn't link to any site. That's the connector you're looking for. Lots can be found, heck even your local radioshack (if you still have one) should have a
    $43 pl259 USA made PL-259 improved double shielded rg-58u for firestik antenna K-8A 18-foot single cb/ham coax cable
