New England B.S. Thread

I'm not a huge fan of beaches so I try to stay away but my family has been vacationing up there for the past 20 years. I would rather go to the Kittery Trading Post and oogle at guns

 

Yeah, whenever I'm within 20 miles of Kittery (rarely) I try to get over to KTP. Picked up a nice Ruger SR1911 a little while ago for a song, so it's always worth a look. A couple of years ago a buddy of mine bought a Savage 111 (used, but in like-new condition) in 30-06 for $175. Sometimes you get lucky and really find a bargain.

 

I'm thinking about making the trip in a few weekends, I'm real interested in a bolt action I can shoot for distance. Apparently for NH folks you gotta drive back to NH just over the bridge to receive the weapon and make it a legal transaction.

 

Damn I always miss the good stuff

 

Ha! That wouldn't surprise me, I guess. I've never had to do it, so...

 

I'm just glad I was raised in NH, hearing about the woes of MASS and CA in regards to gun rights.

Any of you guys do any wheeling?

 

Try to, the guys in NTC are pretty active and go wheel a decent amount

Got a sand blaster, so decided it was time. Sadly. I miss that patina..... Took years to get it looking the way it did.

 

Waiting for it to come in! Then I'll be grooving.

I like ENH but they seem to limit spots and then when they do the runs it seems a lot of people that signed up don't go. That get's a little frustrating.

WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better.

 

They are a great bunch of guys to wheel with, I used to go out with them a lot before I got rid of the taco.
