Pull the 5th leaf if is too stiff. You are a double cab so you'd like that 50T. @DIRT YOTA old red truck had that pack and did great.

They aren't made anymore. Get them while they are hot at a good price. The deavers mentioned above are what you can buy off the shelf new.

Look for yourself. First picture is a BRAND NEW set of F67s with only a single spare at the back of bed.
Second picture is brand new 50T with two spares and aluminum jack

What is the scoop with National Spring these days? I know they moved out of Santee but I haven't been in CA for a few years. I had great experience with having them build custom packs in the past...

My two cents after two sets of F67s and one set of 50-T...if I had to do it all over again, I would do a custom Deaver pack based on the H70/E30. The fit and finish on deaver is much better than the 50-T pack. Deaver is made here and the support is here. My 50-T pack had a made in indonesia or china or something sticker on it...and it showed. Not only that...you can't get a new 50-T pack anymore. But Deaver will make any broken leafs should that happen. 2 years of owning and using the 50T pack I had to rebuild the whole thing (missing pucks, new centering pins, chamfer edges, strip and lube/paint) because it was binding so bad. I also had them re-arched and added 1 more leaf right after the main leaf. The time/money I spent it making the pack work for me/my needs I could have avoided just by having Deaver make me what I needed to start with.

Then what would you suggest for a custom pack or is that something for deaver to handle?

Deaver will build whatever you want. Just make sure you know what you want.

Custom packs have always worked a million times better for me. They may be similar to an off the shelf pack, but they do a good job of adding little tweaks to fit your specific needs/weight. Had a set built for an F150 I built for a customer and even though he was running OEM Kings the rear of the truck had a few extras we added and the custom leaf pack was amazing! Thing carries through to whoops like a cadillac!

Hard to say in a small town, a front to back will work good too. There are many scales for semis that have multi scales for trailers. You should be able to find one of those. Place each axle on a scale.

You don't want to ask... haha. I have seen between $1000-$1500. Yes I know that is expensive and it will honestly depend on what you choose for features. Certain wrap styles, number of leafs, etc....

    Yes
They seem to have disappeared, after they left El Cajon search results showed the business in the Claremont Mess area but I can't find anything online anymore. The story I heard is that after the Dad retired their capabilities were far more limited and they no longer did any hot work on site. I was told the leaf packs were no longer made by them and just ordered from Dallas Spring which is why the wait times went to two months +. They made me a great expo pack but it took forever.

Sad to hear that... Seems to be the case of a lot of the great custom shops. When the main character departs, they can't do what they used to. They used to make some great stuff!
