    Wow, so the 1.75 setting cleared your new 285s with no problems? Any rub? It may settle in a few hundred miles. I agree, the 5100 is so worth it for the money. I plan on upgrading them with 887 coils and AAL in the future when I want more lift.

    I'm actually supposed to install the 285's from Discount Tire today! Hopefully the tech at 4Wheel Parts was correct haha!

    Oh I thought you just got the tires mounted and installed today. My local 4wheel parts wouldn't install the front 5100 shocks for me because they are only listed for 2nd gens. I have to remove my stock struts and bring them to my local mechanic shop to swap them out.

    Yeah my local one said the same thing, they wouldn't sell or install on my 3rd gen. Hence, I got them off jet.com and had them installed at local truck shop. But like I mentioned though, I did get some good info from 4wheel parts though haha

    It does look like Jet doesn't have them listed at the moment.. I had them saved in my cart, went back today and it said 'no longer available'.

    quick question: would Bilstein 5100s x 4 set at .85 in the front effect a rake, level, or lean?

    spent 20 minutes reviewing the thread, apologies if I missed the info I'm looking for

    On stock springs that should render it level. The fronts adjust, the rears do not.

    @Dean724 Where did you get those TRD center caps? SCS rims are probably the ones I'm going to get! Thanks in advance!

    Finally got time to post pics of the new and improved!
    So my mods are:
    * 5100s all around (front set to 1.75)
    * Deaver 3 leaf mini pack in rear (gives approx. 1.5" lift)
    * Spidertrax 1.25 wheel spacers
    * 285 70 17 BFG KO2s
    * NFab Nerf bars (for the boss lady and little rugrats LOL)

    ** I kept the stock TRD Sport wheels (I actually like how they look). There's no rubbing (except this ONE time when I turned right a little harder than usual). No trimming/cutting needed.

    ** Rides just a tad stiffer than stock, but LOVE it! Height is DEFINITELY noticeable, mpg change is not much at all! Have gotten TONS of stares and compliments over the weekend. :thumbsup: Overall, ABSOLUTELY love it! A decent lift for a semi affordable price (Just under $3000 for EVERYTHING). TRUCK ON BROTHERS!!

    Love it! Man that turned out nice! I'm still waiting to install mine. Fitting 285s on 3rd gens aren't that hard after all, especially with the 5100s.

    Thanks brother! You're gonna LOVE it dude! ANd yeah I was hesitant about the 285's but after 4Wheel Parts said it would be ok with the amount of lift and the spacers, I was good to go! LOL

    What dealer/website did you get the Spidertrax spacers from? Also, how's the alignment at 1.75?

    I got them off Jet.com...but they shorted me 12 freakin' lugnuts! Bastards! LOL It ended up being $190 for all 4 so I saved like $10 overall (they're $100 for a pair pretty much everywhere else).

    In regards to alignment, it wasn't perfect but definitely within range. So there wouldn't be any accelerated tire wear, but it does pull to the right just a TAD. (Although all vehicles should though, right? HAHA)

    Awesome, I'll keep spacers in mind in case. Haha well my truck pulls to the right stock! I'll post pics of my rig when I get the chance to install them.

    Yeah man for sure! You're gonna be so stoked! And the spacers are what totally made it able to not have to get UCA's and trimming, etc. It provided enough backspace clearance. :)

I only use 4x4 on my hunting, fishing, and snow driving activities etc. I was wondering if I could ask you guys if you could recommend a good set of replacement shocks that would not create any kind of lift. I'm good with the height and stance. Thanks in advance.
