Hope this helps anyone thinking of doing the same. Next up, a light bar to mount on the brush guard. Measured and I can fit a 31". I ordered one off Amazon for $100. Eyourlife brand, has good reviews. I'm skeptical, but it has a 2 year warranty, so figured it's worth a shot to save $800. (Rigid was $900)

I have 2014 xsp-x tacoma. I was going to try the avid offroad light bar which is modified to fit with TRD skid plates. It should fit our xsp-x skid plate.

Good luck if you hit a deer with that style of brush guard. About all it will do is fold into the grill. Seen more than one where a deer caved it in and still took out the front end of the truck/suv.

I'm putting a plate bumper on my truck for the deer.

Hey OP thats a sweet truck. I never considered the brush guard but it looks good on that truck. I have an xsp-x also. I saw that yours had been leveled off. What lift did you use? I have been wanting to level mine but could not find anyone with an xsp-x that had done it.

I'm not sure what brand. It's a 2" rear block and 3" spacer up front. And yeah, I realize I'm a year late on a reply. Lol
