My misfire from the other day came back this morning. I admittedly used single electrode plugs last time and have since learned how important it is to run duals in these motors, I even overlooked the damn sticker right on the front of the engine...

Today I swapped in the exact part# plugs mentioned in the owners manual. A little annoying but hopefully that's a wrap on this issue.

Rockauto says it's the right one.
Look it over closely. When I had ordered some from Amazon, you could tell they weren't the same quality as OEM. Shine a light in the holes to look for signs of heavy corrosion inside. Mine also had sloppy welds, shape slightly off, engraved with "made in china", but the seller seemed shady anyway so who knows what he had actually sent me. I returned them after he shipped me 2 right lowers instead of R&L.

You guys with taper shims on the rear axle, did it help with the shudder at launch (~5mph)? What angle did you get and which direction did you install (thick end toward front)?

    Thanks for the heads up

I had 3* axle shims and never experienced any shudder. the fat part was to the rear and tapered forward for me, hope I didnt have them backwards for 4 yrs haha.

mine helped. I've been battling my drive line vibe for a long time and recently got it the best it's been, still there, but it's the best it's been. I don't know though. I've grown tired of fuckin woth it.

Whatever you say. Are you gonna do the bushings before you put them in?

I'm sure they do. I just didn't know if you were gonna swap them for the stiffer energy bushings?
