Been putting in a few hours here & there on my raptor grille. Decided to do a thin lip instead of fully recessing it, wasn't happy with a few spots of my bondo work. No idea how people do this in a weekend, altho a few of those I've seen & they're "good from far" lol. Break time over, time for more Super White rattle ran!

Got my hi-lift mounts on-a-budget installed and work perfect. Designed for mounting to Jeep hoods, these brackets are robust, pre-painted, and ready to install. The hardware for mounting the brackets to the hood won't work for the rails, but a t-nut or bolt and washer setup work just as well. There's even a hole in the bracket to use a padlock if wanted. Total cost was under $40 with hardware.

Straight stainless, I don't tow often and if I do I will put the steel ball & ball mount back in.

Don't feel bad... I've never had luck with used vehicles. Ever. The last one I had ( Chevy Malibu )was traded in for a new 2007 taco after it was fixed at the Chevy/Toyota dealership ship. Lol. Straight out of service and into sales in the same fuckin parking lot. I've never bought another used anything

Attention to detail isnt quite as good as higher quality tents.

I took a file to all the unfinished edges, and the ladder mounts are crooked.

    Besides that, looks awesome.

Heading out in the morning for an overnight, and I expect rain. So ill report back.
