A 3 inch lift before lift I has some rubbing but after the lift no rubbing at all

I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and eat the extra shipping charges and potential to void the warranty and lift mine.

 

I know it's not always the most reasonable option, but my dealer in Bend, OR said that if they do the lift, the warranty stays in tact. Might want to double check with your dealer if it's something you're concerned about. I'm going to have them install mine for sure. Warranty is too good to mess with.

 

I've heard that, but I bought my vehicle where I currently live in Alaska, and will be moving in a couple years. So even if I go that route, it may not do anything for me when I move.

 

Alright team. Finally able to post some pics with the new shoes installed yesterday.

I'm getting a slight rub when 3/4 cranked either direction, but I'm going to lift it just a smidge anyway. I'll be calling Wheelers on Monday to figure out the best, smallest lift possible. I really don't want to go over 2", but only option is suspension lift. Not trying to get a quick fix. Wanna do it right. Maybe OME? Will talk to the team at Wheelers and figure it out from there.

And, of course, the grille. After @Brownman151 posted his new ECG, I could totally see myself going that route. Looks awesome. The plastic-dip stuff looks great too, I just wonder about the longevity of everyday living in the great PNW. And then there's the SR grille...ugh. Decisions, decisions (I know, what else is new?).

The dealer absolutely can not void your warranty just because you lift it. Ask them to put that in writing, it'll never happen. They're trying to scam you into paying them way to much money to do it.

 

The dealer here sucks when it comes to lying about warranty. Also they charge an arm and a leg for any installation. For example, back when they had the 2015 tacos in, they wanted $1200 just for the little 3" revtek spacer lift to be put on it. That's how much I spent on my old man emu set up. Your warranty isn't voided if you lift it. They just won't replace the shocks or whatever lift/aftermarket part you put on if they break. Which makes sense because if my Icon UCAs messed up I wouldn't get mad at the dealer, I'd get mad at Icon lol Everything else is still under warranty so go crazy with mods. Don't let the dealer install anything. They'll monetarily rape you.
