Thanks for the info guys...hopefully I'll wheel with you guys on a trail sometime. I'm in a Facebook group my friend invited me to called New England Tacomas, they seem like a good bunch. Apparently there are more groups than I thought there were!

I get out with ENH a couple times a year. Newport area or Bradford are my favorites .

Well, the process has decided to repeat itself.

The as-yet undelivered truck already has a set of wheels ordered for it. I won't even be able to put tires on them until the OEM tires wear out on this go round (or I some more OT at work), but I know I am in love, so I pulled the trigger and placed the order.

I also decided to get new headlights for the Vette. I thought I could hold off, but last night was terrifying. I'm not convinced they don't use a 6 VDC electric system for the headlamps. The ONLY vehicle I've driven that was worse was my Xtracab with sealed beams, and at least I had the 130W Daylighters if I needed to see where I'm going.

These are a full replacement housing/retrofit/etc. They look fantastic to boot.

What generation Si? EG / EK / EP / later? My best friend had a 92 Si hatch when we were in high school. Entirely too low, Wings West Big Mouth, Konig drag wing on the hatch. I absolutely LOVED it at the time, but it was 2002 and FnF was in full swing. My 90 Accord was not nearly as cool. By the time I got it to where I wanted it, it was 2007 and the Honda scene was dying. It was a beautiful car though, I always wish I entered it into a car show.

I'd still love an Integra GS-R. Had I not found the Vette, I would have bought an Integra to hold me me over until the truck showed. A 98 Championship White ITR is on my lottery list. I always wanted a black on black 98-01 GS-R with SSR GP-Theta or Racing Hart Type C wheels with the ITR wing and lip and the OEM Accessory strakes / rear garnish. I'm fairly confident it would be stolen immediately after I got out of it in a public location.

Got pictures of the Si or GS-R?

Those real Advans? I always wanted a GS-R. A good friend had one and ended up hydrolocking the motor hitting a puddle. He filed an insurance claim and ended up with a JDM B18cR out of the deal. Hearing 7,000+ always brought a smile to my face.

No one here has a side gig as a MA state vehicle inspector, correct?

@DoubleRGirl you don't have any friends working tomorrow local to where I am that could pass a car that for all intents and purposes should pass, correct. I found the tiniest of cracks in my bumper signal and I'm worried someone picky will fail me for it.

I've got an aftermarket axleback but it's really quiet. Mastria Subaru always passed my STI with the loud exhaust but they failed all my non-Subarus for stupid reasons.

I'd bet a shop would be more lenient than a dealership

That's what I'm thinking. I have two silly concerns. The first is they will try and jack the car up wrong (you need special adapters to put a floor jack under it, which I have and will have to give them) and they'll see a Vette and be like "oh look at this rich punk...OMGEVERYTHINGISBROKENONYOURCAR."

They jack the car up? I don't think I've ever had a car on a lift for an inspection. But I always have to get inspections done for cash and a tip

They're supposed to jack the front wheels up and wiggle them.

There was a small sop in Hanson I used to go to get inspections. They didn't seem to care about anything. I was in and out in 10 minutes tops every time
