WTF this thread again

 

I'm not talking about jerseys and socks, I'm talking about chest protectors, pants, shin gaurds, etc.

Just looking at pictures from the 90s it looks like todays skaters have more pads too compared to 25 years ago.

There's more padding on the ice in general, so getting a puck through it is obviously going to be harder to do.

 

Bring back Craig Ludwig's shin gaurds

 

True. Except the pads on the players have stayed fairly conforming since bulky equipment would make for slow skaters. Goalie equipment isn't inflated now for safety. It's inflated to catch pucks when goalies drop into the butterfly.

If you're around next year we can discuss the results anyways. Like I said, I think a little shakeup in the league is good. I'd like to see more 5-3 games and epic comebacks.

 

Only a few more days OZ. Then things will go back to semi normal.

I won my surf & turf lunch bet with my boss with San Jose not losing last night so now I'm hoping for fire on the wagon.

 

Better yet, use coconut crabs.
