Has anyone bought one of these painted hood scoops or what do the guys looking for a hood scoop think?

The chances of finding a trade are about 1,000,000 to 1 I'm finding.

I know they aren't a OEM TRD Sport hood so please no comments pertaining to that!

They are less than $300 compared to buying a $600 OEM hood and having it painted for about $400-600.

Just curious as to what you guys think....Is it worth it?

Edit: Thanks @manofsteele2003 I forgot the painted link...

A replacement hood with a built in nonfunctional scoop so that your truck doesn't look like it came from the Pep-Boys custom shop.

I haven't experienced any hood vibrations, so perhaps? Can't say that I had any issues pre-installation either though.

I think a lot of people hate on these because you've found a way to get the same look for a heap cheaper. The one that come from the factory's only purpose is aesthetics. The one from Mr. Scoops only purpose is aesthetics. With that being said...I'd probably pay a few extra bucks to have one that is on the hood seemlessly, but not for the price they are asking from the dealer.
