    I did some Moab trails at 17-18psi (cold) last week. My Cooper ST Maxx didn't bat an eyelash.

    I've also run in the snow at 8psi with Michelin M/S 2's without popping a bead. But as everyone said before there are a lot of factors. The terrain you drive on, cornering, etc. I don't think I'll ever have my ST Maxx that low!

    Get some good tire deflators, and a half decent compressor, and play around with pressures... It will be different for everyone based on, as mentioned, driving surface, personal preference, load, tires, etc... I run 16 psi in my duratracs and they crawl nicely over rocks and logs on the trails I tackle

    Oh and pick up a tire plug kit and know how to use it as well... Invaluable if you're wheeling in the middle of nowhere

    The Staun deflators are fool proof though... Just walk around and twist them on wait for them to click off, replace valve stem caps

    They do work well...but you have to reset them every time you want a different pressure. If you air down to the same PSI every time it's not an issue. I had the Staun deflators, returned them and picked up the ARB. Works better for me.

    You know what, I have the Stauns and my buddy has an ARB, at Pismo we started at the same time...My Stauns were set for 18, so after they deflated I had to sit there with my pressure gauge and air down a hair more to about 14...and I STILL got done before he did lol.

    Nice Kershaw ;), I have the Cryo as well.

    Just make sure to make nice neat gashes in the side wall, cutting through the tread would be difficult and time consuming.

    And for those without a nice Kershaw knife like ourselves, any type of screwdriver would work to with a swift thrust directly in to the sidewall.

    Anyhoo, back to airing down, the only issue I've found with the Stauns lately is from rattling around in my truck and rubbing against each others, I believe the retaining ring came loose on a few and caused the pressure setting to change, as a couple of them stopped at like 20 and 1 stopped at 14 (right where I wanted it to be, but not where it was supposed to be set lol)

    What I also have done while out rock crawling and needed an air source was used my spare tire . I had 33x12.50-15 tires and found if I inflated my spare tire to 60 psi I had plenty of air press to bring the other (4) tires back up to street pressure

    I had a custom air hose made so I could transfer air from my spare tire to the tires on my Jeep
