I'm looking at going out for a few hours tomorrow and looking for some company. I'm open for changing destinations but just want to go somewhere for a few hours.

Can't join you, but if you are going out of Forest Hill (off hwy 80), check out the giant sequoia grove near Oxbow Reservoir.

That would be Placer Big Trees Grove, a very nice hike through the woods to see them. Also just before there on the left is Peavine Rd. leading to Grouse Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in CA. In fact no one knows exactly how tall, but time is running out to see it in its peak. I'd join you but I can't seem to poke around out there for less than 8-10 hrs. and I have a hockey game to watch.
