Hello everyone. I've been looking for a tacoma for a little bit of time now, lurking here and reading and reading. I've done a search, but i can't seem to find an answer.

Does anyone make a bed rack that can be used with a hard tonneau cover? My plans are to have a rack that i can use to mount my RTT, but also be able to keep things secure under the tent in the truck bed. I would prefer not to have a bed cap which seems to be the only solution that i know about.

You could go with something like this:

I've heard that it works with the factory tonneau cover (if that's what you have).
The only caveat is that IF your cover is a trifold you cannot open it with the rack in place...

I did see that previously. Ideally, i'd like to get to get one as high as the allpro, but with the ability to have a locking tonneau or hard cover. This is why i think i may have to get a bed cap.

I haven't seen any versions of that style rack with the option of using the tonneau cover underneath. :/

I own one of his racks and am VERY happy with the quality and function. I mainly use it for holding my Thule ski box in the winter.

Do any of you know if a RTT can be mounted on top of a hard shell tonneau cover?

I also own the Mobtown bed bars. Unfortunately I do not have a picture. These require no drilling. They just bolt easily to the bed rails on the side.
