**CLOSED**NoCO Battery Jump starters Group buy**

Silver Tacoma Matchbox, year unknown, green accents, Snorkeled, LIFTED BABY. Probably sporting Coopers.

 

The NoCO part is the unit that controls power to my Trailers deep cycle battery. I can use AC (as pictured), my solar panels, jumper cables, or a port on my Tacoma to connect and safely charge the it.

The silver thing is exactly what @CO MTN Steve guessed. I just got that bad boy from a TW FB member who built it from pictures of my actual truck. I added it to the post for fun!

 

so like a dual battery kit?

 

I have a deep cell marine battery inside the trailer with a heavy duty inverter built in. Once we set up camp, the truck is disconnected from the RTT Trailer and its deep cell battery keeps all the outlets in the picture "hot". After a couple days, the battery needs some juice so the NoCO will allow me to charge it with any power source I can find (Generally I use solar).

Same deal here was told I'd have to wait for someone to drop off the group buy list... Bad customer service.

I emailed multiple time before the date and never heard anything. Finally about a week after I tried again and was told I'd have to wait for someone to drop off the list. I'm done with it. I'd pay full price through front runner before dealing with them.

 

I asked multiple times that if anyone was having trouble hearing from the vendor to let me know via PM and I would forward the info to them directly via text message.

** Update from the Vendor **

Hey guys, thank you everyone for your patience, we've been putting pressure on NoCo to keep us on the loop with our shipment of the product to the warehouse. Our original intention was to start shipping on the 10th and we made every attempt to meet this deadline, but due delays on the manufacturers part we are behind meeting this deadline. As of yesterday, NoCo confirmed that the GB40's shipped on the 8th and are on route. Our Sales Manager also confirmed that the GB70 are coming from the factory and we are on top of the list and are still on schedule to receive in 2 weeks. We expect the product to arrive the beginning part of this week and we'll start shipping right away.

I was also notified by Ramon that there are a few of you that have not received notifications acknowledging your order. Please PM me directly and ill get you the confirmation and invoice copy right away. I'll keep you guys posted and let you know as soon as the pallet arrives.

I'm glad that I bowed out of this one. @ramonortiz55 you are the group buy god, but your vendor is fucking you on this one.

 

@jsucraig, we have been working with Ramon on many other group buys and have had a great track record getting you guys great deals. This one we went directly to the manufacturer to get you an awesome deal on a product that you guys wanted. I am putting face here talking with you guys directly to let you know whats happening and keep the group on the loop on whats going on. So no body is F'ing anyone on this one. Any questions you guys have ill be happy to assist

 

@ctfriel the order was placed directly to the manufacturer, we had a cut off date of May 30th to place that order and everyone was told to place their order if they wanted in. You cant add anyone else once an order is placed

 

In that case the Manufacturer is fucking you, but there are several posts where emails were not returned with invoicing causing members that were on the list to not be able to take advantage of this "awesome deal".

After the deal has gone through there are members who are being given misinformation, as in 'Finally about a week after I tried again and was told I'd have to wait for someone to drop off the list.' after being on the list 3/4 of the way through.

@ramonortiz55 contacted you at 50, the minimum for the group buy. He contacted you again nearing the 150 mark for a possible extra discount on such a large order. You were able to get the orders in 'early' and cut the deadline to May 30 to expedite shipping yet shipping is anything but expedited. This just seems like a good sized SNAFU.

 

@jsucraig 50 was the minimum order to place an order with the manufacturer, we had alot of interest on the product therefore we wanted to fulfill as much of the demand as possible up to a pallet. A pallet=320 units, we had a total of 128 paid orders. Freight cost for us on 50 or 128, or 320 is the same because its a pallet so it did not make sense to close it. We could have kept it going after the 30th to try to capture more orders, but that would have not been fair to the people that had already paid.

Maybe your right that the manufacturer is f'ing us, but we wont use that as an excuse. We will do whats needed to get this straight, so anyone who might have been missed who sent an email on or before May 30th let me know and ill see about adding them in the 2nd shipment with the GB70's.
