Got a couple little things done this weekend. Added OEM roof rack that was from another TWer. And got an SR grille to replace the teenager braces on my OR! Wasn't home 30 minutes, unloaded groceries and in another 30 had the swap done. Easy peasy.

I took off the front license plate bracket/bumper-extender and screwed the plate directly to the bumper. Now my truck is 2" shorter and looks better too.

Unfortunately the shape of the front bumper cover doesn't really lend itself to using the existing (North American standard?) license plate holes, so I drilled out the existing holes that were used to attach the Toyota bracket, inserted expanding well nuts, and match-drilled new holes in the plate. Since this vehicle is basically North American market only, I don't know what Toyota was thinking with that whole design. It screams "afterthought" to me.

Installed some nylon hole plugs in the LCAs to stop the whistling at 55 MPH (forgot to snap a pic of these) and did the rear diff breather mod today.

Next up: seal up the bed storage box so it doesn't get so dirty inside.
