What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

So bad ass dude. So incredibly sleek and clean and man, IT LOOKS KILLER!!!!

 

Looking out the sliding glass door at my Tacoma whilst doing multiple loads of laundry and cruising new (to me) corners of Tacoma World... I come across this gem. It really should be somewhere easier to find, not hidden in a dark corner. We all need to be reminded at times.

Thanks man! I really appreciate that. I definitely took some time on this setup.. Getting measurements of the bar, talking to @zscott who gave me some good info, making the mounts, etc. I knew what I wanted and it was definitely some work.. But glad I did it and couldnt be happier with the results. So thanks again buddy.

Oh.. And ZERO hood or windshield glare.

 

I think it has to do with the tires. I have general grabber at2s, and the tread is pretty aggressive, with a really deep tread. My buddy got these tires for his xterra in the same size and stock, and rubber afterwards solely due to the aggressive tread.

 

Replaced both of my LCA's today with stock replacements. I was a victim of the seized bolts in the bushing syndrome. I don't know why Toyota didn't either grease them from the factory or place a plastic sleeve in there. Took about 4 hours total and about 10 sawzall blades to get them cut out and replaced.

Besides the bushing issue both my lower ball joints were shot anyway so I'd say it was a good thing to do.

 

I installed an oem rear view camera, my 2015 didn't come with it but was prewired. Easy 15 min upgrade.

 

Swapped the OEM front flaps for Husky flaps. No more tire rub from what I can tell so far.

 

Got my ARB awning mounted this morning and hit up the beach.

Installed and wired up a LED light bar. Used APEX Fabworks mounts and a Caliraised 3D bar. Did a few other electrical goodies too.

 

that's the first 1 i think i've seen installed in the valance and the lower grill not removed i like it it's very stealthy

 

Installed PRO headlights today. Now have originals up for sale. Pic doesn't do justice for this subtle change of color.

 

Took off all the chrome emblems and put on my new gloss black ones.

Met up with some fellow TW members at our local Twin Peaks.

 

Did immryo's mirror mod. Great product.

 

First of all I graduated from high School today which automatically called for a truck wash. Had to make him shiny and purty one last time for the class of 2K16 to see in person. And then dad let me drive his Mustangmwhich automatically called for pics with the mighty taco

 

Just replaced the UCA, Shocks, and Spindles on my 240k Mile tacoma .
