That's funny, I do the same Damn thang. Usually my Tacoma looks much better though!!

Before I bought my Tacoma, I would do the same thang. And yes, I still do it. My wife hates it.

I still try and wave at other Tacomas. I'll get the occasional nod or wave back. I really don't think it will catch on.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

A stock Wrangler Rubicon will go places a brand new Tacoma TRD Off Road will not. Stock to stock the Jeep is just a more capable vehicle. But notice what I drive.

this may be trrue....but when both vehicles have 60,000 miles....the trd offroad tacoma is still going down trails while the rubicon is at the mechanic get a million things fixed

Jeep are very overpriced and unreliable.....i wish u could depend on them more...cuz the features they have are great

fuzzy dice in the mirror was a joke.....that didn't last more than a week.

then again when u see what the truck looked like when i first bought it u can see the joke out of it.

bright florescant pink....it used to be a show truck that some lady owned

It's ok to admit that it pained you to paint over the pink. We won't pass judgment. :p

I understand where you are coming from, but the reality is that there are so many Tacomas out there that it is not that exclusive...i understand our love for this truck but there are people out there, that for necessity and not for the love of it...i would understand the waving if it was something like a Ferrari, a z06, evo, sti, something that people would buy because of luxury and not necessity... For example... a few year back prius owners would wave one another because it was something new and somewhat exclusive, but now, with gas prices, way more people are buying these things, and the exclusivity is getting lost... In other words, if we were to wave every other tacoma owner we see on the road, we would be waving every 5 seconds to the point of annoying ourselves... IMO.

Good God...The wave....I've owned 5 wranglers and 5 tacoma's. Everytime I sell a Jeep I feel liberated that I no longer have to wave. The commute is bad enough without worrying about validating some guy's asscociation with his ride. Oh...Jeep reliability. My 08 Jeep Wrangler had major electronic issues right off the lot, sucked fuel, was under powered with the Chrysler mini-van V6 Motor which was mated with a tranny that was as hyper as an ADHD kid in a candy store. I wont mention the cheap fit and finish...yes I will. No sharp objects allowed in the interior [IMG]
