Tire size?

Hey guys, I am new to this forum. I was just wondering what the largest size of tire I could fit on my Tac without having a lift kit? Which brand is popular?

I started out just like you did. Just get a 3" lift and 33"s and save yourself months of trouble...trust me!!!

Well, Since we are discussing tire size... . ((AND THE TIRE CALCULATOR DOESN'T GO HIGH ENOUGH ON THIS SITE))

I JUST INSTALLED A 3" front / 2" rear lift on my 05 trd 2wd Double cab.

I want to put 16 x 8 or 16 x 10 Mickey Thompson Classic II rims on it...

I found a great deal on tires - But do not know if they will fit - They are 375 55 16 tires - and I am wondering if anyone can give me some help.. .as in will they fit my truck... or are they too big?!?!?

Any info will be appreciated ((as i am totally new to this))

Unless you want to look like one of those Hawaiian Taco beach cruisers, they will not fit:

LT 375 / 55 R 16 = Diameter 32.2 (Inches)
Section Width: 14.8 (Inches) Section Height: 8.1 (Inches)


No offense to the Hawaiian crowd on the boards (Toku, et al)

 

if you want to lift go ahead they look great. for me its just not an option as im trying to keep the heigth of the truck the same so I went with 265/70/16 and it really doesnt raise it a bit. I personally dont think it filled up the wheel wells to much. As far as tires go like the first post said it does depend on driving. Your in Canada so Im assuming you get some snow. The guys on here love BFG AT, I put Nitto Terra grapplers on and really like them, had them on my F-250 and was happy there as well. The New Dura goodyears look great, I was just hesitant cuz they havent been around to long and didnt know what I would get out of them. There are a lot of great tires and smart people on this site to help. These are just my thoughts
