New to the forum and new to my Taco..

2016 TRD Off-road dbl cab w/ tech pkg

I have quite a few things lined up that I want to do with and to my truck. Overall I plan to do some light off-roading and nothing to extreme. At least that is the current plan. We will see what really happens. This will be a slow and steady process but I will keep the new pictures coming as I work on the mods..

Got some Plasti-dip, metallic flake, and gloss clear from walmart today. Will take a few pictures of my interior customization tomorrow when the sun comes up. I wanted Blue but found that it is extremely difficult to get. So in keeping with the trend of toyota, I went with a muted red. Lets see how it looks in the sun light tomorrow.
Also installed my AVS in channel wind deflectors.

Looks awesome! Once it's painted is it still easy to keep clean? Looking forward to more!

That's Plasti-dip... and the locations that I did for the molding aren't ones that typically get dirty or too dusty so will be a while before I can answer that..

So we have those nice cutouts in our bed for pieces of wood to go across.. but I don't want to screw anything down and I don't want the shelves sliding, nor do i want to lay my road bike bike down on a hard piece of wood..

Well , with 2 1x6 (57" long) pieces of wood, 4 6' pieces of 1/2in pipe insulation, and 1/2 roll of black all weather duct tape.... padded, anti slip, compression fit shelves complete.. these will work great while the tonneau cover is closed and should stand up to light rain if it was open..

Ultimately, it will allow me to lay down my bikes across the top without worry of them sliding around or any excessive pressure on specific components.. and also allows me to have thinner boxes or pelican cases underneath them.. while also having the tonneau cover closed for longer drives..
