ive heard of rocky road before...but it kind of amuses me that they essentially call every other slider out there a nerf bar

    No I dont.

I was just reading a Forum Post about these and the way they mount is kinda different. They mount to the Frame In only 2 spots, and they also mount to the pinch weld/body. So any vertical weight is all transfered to the body/pinch weld. Dont think thats very good...

And he said they dont stick out far enough to really use as a step, or give much protection from trees/rocks. So I think, Im back to getting Demello's bolt on's. lol

Buy 4xInnovations DOM sliders. $300 shipped. Then buy the bolt on kit thing from CBI for ~$100 IIRC.

Weld em up and you have really awesome bolt on sliders for $400 + labor.

+1 for 4x. I got mine for $265 shipped (I got the HREW version) and they hold up great. Ive [actually] used them my last two trips, pivoting my truck off them and putting quite a bit of stress on them and they held up amazing, no bending at all. Ive never heard of the company you posted so I cant comment on them.

I got the DOM version welded up a couple weeks ago. Was going to get the chance to use them on sunday, but as of right now I have no skids on my truck (took the factory ones off, waiting til I can use a buddies impact wrench so I can put my new budbuilts on) so I decided it would be best NOT to go, especially since the last time I was at the place I was hittin off the factory ones A LOT.
