FS: 10g steel skid plate

Just ordered mine

 

I'm not sure if Avid changed their design but it has been hit or miss. Some people were able to make them work without an issue and other people had to grind down the edges. Maybe someone with both installed will chine in.

If there is a demand for them, we could do a batch again.

 

@Matt123 will it really take longer then three weeks to receive?

 

Anyone have pics of this skid installed on a 6" drop bracket lift?

 

I believe they are in Canada.. possibly Vancouver? definitely the west coast

Got mine in the other day and i painted the BPF in silver. Woot

 

Hey guys.. I had a question about my skid plate. I installed it, and i installed it over the factory plate that sits underneath it. And it seems like the spacer that fits between the skidplate and front bolts is too large and is causing the skidplate to stick out too much. Doesnt sit very flush as compared to my old one. I was curious if i installed it incorrectly or if anybody else was having a similiar situation?

 

I got mine, dipped it read, and installed it. Super happy with the purchase. Safer and happy with it. LOOKs great too

 

I'd buy an unstamped skid if you did another batch.

Definitely not, we try to keep everything in stock. The longer lead times are for the completed grills, as some can be damaged when we receiving them.

Was thinking about ordering the skid plate, what issues with mounting the skid plate did you have? .. can you remove old skid plate and just mount this one, in description it says it mounts over top of factory skid plate?

 

Also just curious about this since here in Ohio we have heavily salted roads in the winter, does that effect the powder coating?
